Natural Playspace: Test Drive by Target Audience

Today my 3 year old son and I went to the Natural Playspace to check on the progress and test drive the play areas. As you can see from the first picture, he was very excited to be hiking down the trail - the new trail markers at kid height are perfect. When we got there, I was the more excited one. It's so wonderful to be able to see something go from an idea to a plan on paper to reality (with the help of many many volunteers).

The highlight for my son was the rock pit - he loved rolling different sized rocks down the chute. We also climbed the tower and hung out in the bear's den. Most importantly, we had some fun outside time, where he got to march around and collect sticks, find a bird feather, and chase butterflies. Its such a beautiful, cozy setting with so much to see and explore. I can't wait to share it!

Many, many, many thanks to all who have worked (and are still working) on this project.
