Children learned about barn owl and box turtles brought by the CT Audubon. Wildlife in Crisis presented information about their rehabilitation program. Backyard Beekeepers had a see-thru exhibit with hundreds of honey bees and graciously donated $500 to the Aspetuck Land Trust.
There were Orienteering programs, a Colonial Tools demonstration, Tractor rides and nature walks around the preserve, as well as Pony rides, Face painting, and Kids crafts.
A free raffle was held with over $1000 worth of donations from local merchants including;Patagonia, Eastern Mountain Sport, The Dressing Room, Gilberties Herb Gardens of Easton,Aspetuck Valley Orchards, Local author James Prosek, and Greenfield Farms of Fairfield.
